First, uninstall your current geforce experience Next, download an older version of geforce experience (v3.6 is recommended or any older version, you can google it ). Open nvidia control panel, go to manage 3d settings, click on the program settings tab, select geforce experience from dropdown menu at the top, click on restore default button to the right and hit apply at the bottom of screen Open geforce experience overlay settings (alt+z i believe) and go to keybinds, theres an option for save the last xxx minutes, make sure you memorize that bind (or use anything you like, i use alt+m).
As for installing geforce experience or not In general i always install it Easier driver updates and it adds the performance overlay, shadowplay and a few other features I'm also using nvidia broadcast for microphone noise removal (it was called rtx voice before).
Although the geforce experience app finds the cyberpunk game and shows the optimal video setting for my nvidia graphics card, i can't perform the optimization as this app doesn't identify the current settings
